Candle Care

Follow these simple steps to ensure the best and safest use of your Kauai Candle Co soy candle.

Before Lighting

Trim wick to ¼ inch before every use.

Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax.

While Burning

Burn only on a flat, stable, fireproof surface.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Burn for no more than 3 hours at a time

Keep flame away from container sides.

First Burn Matters

Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface during the first burn.

This helps the candle burn evenly throughout its life.

After Use

The container will be hot — handle with care.

Stop burning when only ½ inch of wax remains.

An uneven surface after cooling is normal with pure soy wax.
